South African company AVS introduces its range of Milcat light armoured vehicles, that is unique in its category.
About us
Situated in Gauteng, AVS was born out of a group of companies that specialise in the design and manufacturing of armoured vehicles. Out of this wealth of experience and continued support, we offer our clients various armoured vehicle solutions, specialising in rentals specifically.
We offer quick deployment of our vehicles and constant support by working closely with our clients and their management in order to ensure, as best as possible, the smooth and reliable operation of our vehicles.
Products
The Milcat offers supreme reliability, protection and mobility. The vehicle features level B6 ballistic protection which protects up to and including standard assault rifles.
AVS offers two 4X4 models. The Milcat 5-seater Bakkie and the Milcat 7-seater Closed Canopy. Each with its own unique features and variants. The Milcat is based on a light truck ensuring that the vehicle can handle the constant weight of the fully armoured body. This also allows the Milcat to boast a much larger size compared to standard bakkies, enhancing its presence in any situation. It also ensures that the critical components like the brakes and suspension are designed to perform optimally in all situations.
